Schedule of the Week

Still doing damage control on various things IRL right now. I know that I stated I would be doing a GCR focus week to make up for something multiple weeks ago… but sorry, I need a reboot here. With how things currently are, I can’t catch up. I’ll try to get some extra freebie chapters out on Spring Break or whenever I have a more ‘open’ week to make up for the past while.

For those interested in another installment of the drama that is my life, keep reading till the end of the post!

  1. Lazy Dungeon Master — Chapter 150
  2. Lazy Dungeon Master (Receptionist-san Side Story) — Chapter 5
  3. Inside the Cave of Obscenity 2 — Chapter 2 (Part 6)

Extra Info

The Epic Tale of the Forsaken Hero

Regarding redoing the fourth arc: The author finally resumed releasing chapters, with the first new one since March on Dec. 7th! He hasn’t posted anything since then, not even a life report on his blog. Here’s to hoping? (~’.’)~

As of 2017/1/31, still no new updates.

Read this for more information.

Lazy Dungeon Master

Last chapter in the extra arc, then we’ll finally be back with the main story line. One final detour before that happens, however, as LDM’s author released another twisted chapter of our perverted Receptionist Silia-chan.

Dragon’s Bloodline

 The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist

Inside the Cave of Obscenity

Alright, finally going to be finishing V2 Ch2 this week…

Hoookay, so I’ll do a tl;dr first: drama, drama, drama.

Still here? Nice, yeah, let’s get this started.

It all started when this and this happened back to back. My dad’s girlfriend–someone I’ve written about here at some point before–had a seizure. There was also a big wind storm like two days prior. Dealing with our neighbor and insurance calls while also trying to fight the hospital to actually admit her for a checkup (did I mention she’s had two seizures since?) instead of just turning her away–which is what they did–kept me from making it to my college classes two days… in a row. Falling behind in Physics? Hah. Hah hah… … … hah. I’ve yet to catch back up!

Now, to go with both of those: my aunt lost my credit card. “Why did she have it!?” you ask? Well, I was doing homework (note that it’s taking a ridiculous amount of time because I’d missed the classes that explained how to do it) and she was just going to head to Starbucks and pick herself up coffee (or was it coffee creamer from the store? Can’t recall now…) and bring it right back… it was lost in transit. Naturally, I immediately reported the card lost and for it to be disabled after looking for a little over an hour with no luck. In the end, this caused this lovely email to be sent to me.

The transcripts I needed to be sent to UC Davis, CSU Chico, CSU Sacramento, etc? Cancelled–no, well, delayed. But may as well have been cancelled. I’ve long since ‘reordered’ them, but they won’t arrive until well after the due date for them to arrive to their respective destinations. Tried contacting the admissions offices, but no luck… all I can do is hope, hope, and hope harder. I’ve long since been at the Community College level much longer than I should be with over 130 units taken now. As a bit of history, I’m currently at 3.2 GPA (An F and a D in two 5 unit classes due to severe depression back in Spring 2011) and I’ve been doing my hardest to try and get it high enough for a ‘Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)’ for a guaranteed transfer to UC Davis… but since I didn’t get that GPA, which is the required GPA for the TAG, until the last semester’s end, I wasn’t able to apply for the TAG yet again, leading to so much crap… Also, my Fall 2016 transfer was denied back in Spring 2016 due to missing a Single. Freaking. Class. Counselor at both Sacramento City College and UC Davis said that I had everything required for the transfer… but the colleges’ admissions offices disagreed.

Apparently, the Argumentation & Debate I took in Shasta College (where I was before having to transfer to Sacramento’s—another long story) wasn’t transferable except when transferring directly from that college, so I had to take another public speaking class down here. So I’m yet another year from getting my Bachelor’s and I’ve already been taking college classes for five years.

… and now this is devolving into an even greater disorganized rant than expected. Blargh. In the end, I’ve just been stressed out the past few weeks and shirked all responsibilities I should have been doing. I’ve even since missed two more days of college from not wanting to get out of bed, not to mention the plethora of hours I’ve put into playing WoW to ignore real life recently.

But hi. I’m here. Not dead. A bit of a deplorable idiot, yeah, but not dead. Just trying to keep everything from falling apart right now! Sorry if I’ve ignored anyone’s comments or messages.

  1. always good to rant to get things out of your body, try to not fuss about us and get your life where you want it.

  2. You poor thing, Seems that the world is out to get you. I can only pray that things work out in the end for you. Also you will have to muster a serious amount of will power to prevent from a breakdown. Hang in there ziru.

    1. It’s the meat bun from the other stuff I read :O
Also I feel your pain, when it rains it pours and life tends to throw curve balls :s I myself have been stuck in community college (a 2 year degree) for 4 years now due to dumb miscommunications and shitty advisors.

Take your time and do things at your own pace so that you don’t get burned out 😉

  3. Dam, I hope things get better.
Take all the time you need and I hope you feel at least a little better after the rant.

  4. Thx god, thought you were missing forever, it’s all good if it all work out in the end, I take college for 7 years and I’m doing fine mwahahaha. Long story short I’m happy now, your life are not decided by how long you stay in school.

And WoW dang, I just cancelled my sub this month lol, that damn game keep sucking all the time that I had ( falling behind with other game ) I still have the witcher 3 blod wine waiting to be played since the release of Legion, sorry gerald I have no time for you, Illidan needs me. The only way to stop playing that life sucker is to stop my sub rofl.

Anyway I’m happy you still around, will excitedly waiting for LDM and cave, I love your works.

  5. Dude, life sucks. Take your time; we love your stuff, but it’s no sweat if it just ain’t possible to keep up.

    Thanks for all you do!

  6. Wow, that’s a lot, I understand were your coming from, as someone who is also in college, its a pain at how many loops and rules they throw out at you from no where. Thx for your hard work and hang in there!!! -Musing stalker #404

  7. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been having such a hard time! Seriously, real life is way more important than translating for random people on the internet (even if real life means taking time out to play WoW to keep sane). Take all the time you need to get your life together. Don’t feel guilty or stressed about not translating. THANK YOU for all the time you gift (and I literally mean gift) us with by translating these web novels. I hope things get better for you soon.

Seriously. Do what you have to do. And thank you for everything you do!

    1. I second this. Thanks for everything, and make sure to keep your priorities straight. No matter what anyone else says, Real Life is always more important. Don’t you dare feel guilty or stressed! You are amazing!
      Best wishes for the future!

      1. *looks at all those time spend on WoW raid*
        Answer in denial : no…. it’s not…..

Joke aside, yeah RL will take top priority but don’t forget blow off your steam once in a while.

  8. Good luck in everything and remember to put the important things first.

Really appreciate the work you do here but I’d rather read nothing and know you had your life on track.
    All the best.

  9. That sounds bad. good luck, for what its worth from just another random person. agreeing with all those comments above, but this is you. if this is what you do to relive stress, do it, but it doesn’t seem like it. play WOW or whatever you do to blow off steam, kick the stupid admissions office people’s ass, and get yourself on track. then worry about us. we are behind you here, even if you probably never see most of us. (okay, i am generalizing, but who gives a fuck?) and we care.

YOU are the big one here. take care of yourself.

  10. I vaguely remember typing a three paragraph comment about how you should keep moving forward and allow these experiences to mold you into a kickbutt mofo and to keep your real life company close.

But I also remember falling asleep halfway through the second paragraph and waking up every half hour to finish my motivational comment… I also vaguely remember hitting send while my internet might’ve been down…

so uhh instead here’s some virtual chocolate for early valentines? This is a sign of thanks for translating so far without dying of anemia from us leeches! I really appreciate your indulgement of this hobby and its subsequent benefit to me! Bleck!
    🍫 Happy advanced Valentines!

  11. Sounds like a lovely serving of doo doo casserole with a side of butt salad. College is always a nightmare to deal with.
