Still doing damage control on various things IRL right now. I know that I stated I would be doing a GCR focus week to make up for something multiple weeks ago… but sorry, I need a reboot here. With how things currently are, I can’t catch up. I’ll try to get some extra freebie chapters out on Spring Break or whenever I have a more ‘open’ week to make up for the past while.
For those interested in another installment of the drama that is my life, keep reading till the end of the post!
- Lazy Dungeon Master — Chapter 150
- Lazy Dungeon Master (Receptionist-san Side Story) — Chapter 5
- Inside the Cave of Obscenity 2 — Chapter 2 (Part 6)
The Epic Tale of the Forsaken Hero
Regarding redoing the fourth arc: The author finally resumed releasing chapters, with the first new one since March on Dec. 7th! He hasn’t posted anything since then, not even a life report on his blog. Here’s to hoping? (~’.’)~
As of 2017/1/31, still no new updates.
Read this for more information.
Lazy Dungeon Master
Last chapter in the extra arc, then we’ll finally be back with the main story line. One final detour before that happens, however, as LDM’s author released another twisted chapter of our perverted Receptionist Silia-chan.
The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist
Inside the Cave of Obscenity
Alright, finally going to be finishing V2 Ch2 this week…
Hoookay, so I’ll do a tl;dr first: drama, drama, drama.
Still here? Nice, yeah, let’s get this started.
It all started when this and this happened back to back. My dad’s girlfriend–someone I’ve written about here at some point before–had a seizure. There was also a big wind storm like two days prior. Dealing with our neighbor and insurance calls while also trying to fight the hospital to actually admit her for a checkup (did I mention she’s had two seizures since?) instead of just turning her away–which is what they did–kept me from making it to my college classes two days… in a row. Falling behind in Physics? Hah. Hah hah… … … hah. I’ve yet to catch back up!
Now, to go with both of those: my aunt lost my credit card. “Why did she have it!?” you ask? Well, I was doing homework (note that it’s taking a ridiculous amount of time because I’d missed the classes that explained how to do it) and she was just going to head to Starbucks and pick herself up coffee (or was it coffee creamer from the store? Can’t recall now…) and bring it right back… it was lost in transit. Naturally, I immediately reported the card lost and for it to be disabled after looking for a little over an hour with no luck. In the end, this caused this lovely email to be sent to me.
The transcripts I needed to be sent to UC Davis, CSU Chico, CSU Sacramento, etc? Cancelled–no, well, delayed. But may as well have been cancelled. I’ve long since ‘reordered’ them, but they won’t arrive until well after the due date for them to arrive to their respective destinations. Tried contacting the admissions offices, but no luck… all I can do is hope, hope, and hope harder. I’ve long since been at the Community College level much longer than I should be with over 130 units taken now. As a bit of history, I’m currently at 3.2 GPA (An F and a D in two 5 unit classes due to severe depression back in Spring 2011) and I’ve been doing my hardest to try and get it high enough for a ‘Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)’ for a guaranteed transfer to UC Davis… but since I didn’t get that GPA, which is the required GPA for the TAG, until the last semester’s end, I wasn’t able to apply for the TAG yet again, leading to so much crap… Also, my Fall 2016 transfer was denied back in Spring 2016 due to missing a Single. Freaking. Class. Counselor at both Sacramento City College and UC Davis said that I had everything required for the transfer… but the colleges’ admissions offices disagreed.
Apparently, the Argumentation & Debate I took in Shasta College (where I was before having to transfer to Sacramento’s—another long story) wasn’t transferable except when transferring directly from that college, so I had to take another public speaking class down here. So I’m yet another year from getting my Bachelor’s and I’ve already been taking college classes for five years.
… and now this is devolving into an even greater disorganized rant than expected. Blargh. In the end, I’ve just been stressed out the past few weeks and shirked all responsibilities I should have been doing. I’ve even since missed two more days of college from not wanting to get out of bed, not to mention the plethora of hours I’ve put into playing WoW to ignore real life recently.
But hi. I’m here. Not dead. A bit of a deplorable idiot, yeah, but not dead. Just trying to keep everything from falling apart right now! Sorry if I’ve ignored anyone’s comments or messages.
